I’ve been building with WordPress for years. And one thing I’ve learned? People massively underestimate how overwhelming WordPress can be when you’re just starting out. We talk about custom post types, hooks, templates, child themes, performance optimization, and assume everyone knows what we’re talking about. A lot of people don’t. They only know how to install themes and edit via customizer. There are a lot of business owners trying to update a homepage for the first time. There are freelancers building their first website. There are people who don’t even know what a plugin is. That’s why I started @wpforstarters. Not to impress experienced developers. But to help beginners become confident WordPress users.

For the love of WordPress

The WordPress community doesn't need more gatekeeping. It needs more teachers. I've met website owners who have been running WordPress sites for years and still don't understand updates, backups, or why their site suddenly breaks after installing a plugin. And honestly? That's not their fault. We spend so much time building features that we forget to explain them. Education creates confidence. Confidence creates better websites. Better websites create long-term WordPress users. That's the mission behind WordPress for Starters (@wpforstarters). Helping everyday users go from "I hope this works" to "I know what I'm doing."

Wrapped up a WordPress project and got a solid review from the client. This one wasn’t just a static website. Had to set up the full system… Frontend, CRM, automations, emails, tracking everything tied together and actually working. From build to launch, things worked the way they were supposed to, which is honestly what matters most. Client was clear with what he wanted, gave feedback early, and didn’t drag decisions. That made the whole process easier on our end. Solid project all round.
