Kohli was the first batsmen in the Indian team to have an athlete like comprehensive fitness and seeing the trend among youngsters, Rohit would be the last one to play with sub-standard fitness in ICT.
PS: Bowlers, especially spinners will still get a pass if they are good.

It's funny that nobody at the BCCI factored in the possibility that a local crowd wouldn't turn up in huge numbers for an England vs New Zealand World Cup opener.
The world's biggest cricket stadium claims a capacity of 132,000, yet even the IPL 2026 Final between GT and RCB attracted only around 90,000 spectators. You think there weren't more people who wanted tickets for that match?
There are people in Indian cricket who are not just incompetent, but greedy too. They want their cut at every level.
