Representatives of WVSOM, including President James W. Nemitz, Ph.D., participated in Rural Health Day at the West Virginia State Legislature at the Capitol in Charleston, W.Va., on Feb. 16.
WVSOM hosted a press conference by West Virginia Gov. Patrick Morrisey on Feb. 9. Morrisey announced a public water line extension project in western Greenbrier County, parts of which currently rely on private water sources such as wells.
