I finally decided to leave X/Twitter. You can find me on π¦sky instead: @vincenius.bsky.social
If anyone wants to join me - DM me for an invite (I'll occasionally lurk over here). See you over there π
I recently played a lot with Ubuntu servers, so I decided to share my process on self-hosting web apps using Ubuntu Caddy

My server provider has a network outage - This means my email service is unavailable, causing all links in my weekly newsletter to not be available π€¦ββοΈ
What a bad timing...
I made this small tool - Buttons Generator.
100 buttons you can use for your projects.
It is live on @devhunt_ today.

My goal for the #webdev newsletter on webdev.town is to grow to 1000 subscribers and $100MRR by the end of the year :)
I'll report below how it is going π
#BuildInPublic
ποΈ September
π¨ Subscribers: 855
π° MRR: $40.50
Got quite some subscribers this month through paid ads. This month, I'll work on improving my sponsorship flow to make it more attractive & easier to use π
ποΈ October
π· MRR: $39.40
π¨ Subscribers: 1101
Last month, I focused more on reducing costs. By moving away from Mailerlite, I save like $40 bucks a month. Today I'll move from Vercel to save another $20
Today I've been playing around with logos for my latest project (which I've decided to name "OpenMailer")
Which idea do you like more? π€
#BuildInPublic
Today's Newsletter just went out π
Something special today: I switched from MailerLite to a newsletter tool I've built myself (to save $40/mo). Everything seems to have worked just fine π₯³
The tool is open-source. You can find it here:

It's still a work in progress. The basic functionality is there, but it's not very polished right now
I'm happy I was able to spin this up within one week and I also learned a lot π Maybe I'll create a landing page with a small blog for this project to share my learnings
The weekly #webdev newsletter just went out π¬including:
