It might be a meme, but some people are either very naive or actually believe Valve would ever add a “Sticker Removal Tool.” Why would they do that? To make applying stickers pointless and destroy a market that’s been thriving for over 10 years? To cut off one of their steady income sources from Major and store stickers? To make the new Slabs completely irrelevant? They literally said it themselves in the new update: "WITH NO COMMITMENT". "Not ready to apply your favorite sticker? We got you! Today we are introducing Sticker Slabs—charms that let you show off a sticker WITH NO COMMITMENT. Later, just break the slab to return the sticker to your inventory". I feel kind of dumb having to spell this out, but it seems like someone had to say the obvious.
