Heads up that Drupal 11.2.0-rc1 contained some incorrect changes that will not be included in Drupal 11.2.0. If you are testing the release, you should upgrade to drupal.org/project/drupal/re… instead. 🙂🚀

Another example of Singapore having excellent usability: forewarning, and a choice about which kind of bathroom stall to use. (Let’s just say that Japan’s typical toilets can be alarming as a Westerner.)

Well, Duolingo prepared me for how to say seven 七 and seven o'clock 七時 and seven people 七人 and July 七月 and seven hundred yen 七百円, but not how to operate a water faucet, nor how the shower is supposed to dry my clothes. 🇯🇵

Google Lens, OTOH, is a miracle. I can muddle out Hiragana, Katakana, and basic Kanji like big, small, on, off, etc., but all the labels in my apartment were still complete mysteries that Google Lens decoded instantly. AI and machine learning both terrify and inspire me.

Drupal 11.0.0-alpha 1 will be released on the week of April 29, 2024. There are only a few remaining blockers to get to beta and to make the stable release on the week of July 29, 2024 possible.
