have been thinking about this thesis of every shot having to be a perfect loop, and I'm determined to make it so, but a small concession/caveat I think is that loops may be longer than required for the completed edit.

long-form, story driven video game playthroughs with no commentary make excellent background fodder while working. a 12 hour film that's 90% vibes & atmosphere (not too distracting) and 10% actual meat

my @rodeodotclub UX requests; 1. on mobile, when I browse by category, click into a work, and then go back, I’m sent to the top of the page instead of my prior scroll position. it's fine at first but eventually hit a threshold and give up. Discovery sessions often fizzle quickly

@rodeodotclub UX request #15: in addition to comments, another great social feature would be a polling feature that only collectors could vote on. And it’s always live so a secondary collector could always flip the sentiment of any given edition

I suppose they could be time limited too, but having an “always open” option would be cool way to reflect ongoing consent about a piece. Ie “this piece can be shown for free in x place/s”

We’re not a naive new entrant to the digital art space. We’ve been building in it for 5 years. If you think existing models are working, show me proof. We’re not here to build a gallery for 25 artists. We’re here to fundamentally change how the internet rewards creativity.
