First 10 rounds of the Minneapolis #SFB16 draft is done. My top 3 picks in the Rayman Division are as follows: Coming out hot 🔥. With pick 1.06 Yardzilla selects Jamar Chase. In this bonus heavy format, his combination of volume, efficiency, and ceiling makes him one of the highest-upside non QB’s available and is a difference-maker built for SFB16 video game scoring.

Bringing 🔥in the second. With pick 2.07 Yardzilla selects Chris Olave. In this format, Olave’s combination of high volume targets, first downs, and explosive plays positions him as a reliable WR with weekly 20-30 point upside. Projected as a first round pick in some SFB16 rankings makes taking him in the middle of round 2 an excellent pick to build around in SFB16.

Third round value with major upside. With pick 3.06 Yardzilla selects Garrett Wilson. In this format, Wilson’s target hog potential and spike-week ceiling (20-30 points) make him a strong anchor pick with massive WR1 upside.

A little depends on league roster requirements, type of league and scoring etc. but in a redraft vacuum, the devil 😈 on my shoulder is taking CMC whose VORP (Value Over Replacement Player) in a 12 team standard scoring is 188 compared to Puka/Chase who is 148 & 134 respectively. Or, the angel 😇 on my other shoulder could make me take Chase. Last two years over 710 PPR points, nearly 20 PPG, and leads all WRs in targets, catches, yards, and TDs since 2024. My constant on early round picks, RBs carry huge injury risk and short careers. Chase is 26, in his prime, and gives you elite production with way less chance of your season blowing up. Top five picks are the most valuable and should be the most risk-averse selection you take and while any of these players on any given play can be injured, the percentages on running backs are a lot higher. Give me Chase! 😇
You have the 3rd Overall Pick Bijan Robinson and Jahmyr Gibbs are gone Who are you picking here?!?🤔

Draft and team building philosophy. What is VORP? Value Over Replacement Player (VORP) is one of the most popular ways to evaluate players. It measures how much extra fantasy production a player delivers compared to a readily available “replacement-level” player at the same position (think waiver wire fodder anyone can grab). It shifts focus from raw points to relative value — crucial because positions have wildly different depths. The Core Idea • Replacement level = the expected output of the last starter you’d draft or the best waiver option (e.g., QB12–14 in a 12-team league, RB24–30, etc.). • VORP = Player’s projected fantasy points minus replacement-level points. • Positive VORP = elite difference-maker. Zero or negative? Streamable or bench fodder. This powers Value-Based Drafting (VBD): Draft the highest VORP available to maximize roster advantage, not just best absolute projections.

Position-by-Position Breakdown (Standard 12-Team League Example) Tight Ends (1 starter, very thin): • Premium position. Top TEs (especially pass-catching weapons) generate massive VORP. • Example: Elite TE at 180 points vs. replacement TE12 at ~80–100 → 80–100 VORP. • This is why stud TEs fly off the board early — the gap to streamers is enormous. Tight Ends — super thin, so the studs create massive separation. • Trey McBride 55, Brock Bowers 53. • Colston Loveland 44.
After those top three the drop-off is steep — most everyone else is under 30 and quickly goes to zero. That’s why the elite TEs get drafted much earlier than in past years.

How to Apply VORP in Your Drafts 1. Get projections tailored to your league scoring (PPR, half, standard). 2. Define replacement: Usually last starter drafted (e.g., QB12, RB24, WR36, TE12 in 12-team). 3. Calculate or use tools: Sites like FantasyPros offer VORP rankings. 4. Draft by highest VORP until starters filled, then fill bench. 5. In-season: Use for trades/waivers — target positive VORP adds over name value. 6. Customize: Adjust for your league size, scoring, and roster settings. Superflex? QB replacement rises sharply. Pro Tip: VORP highlights “value cliffs” — positions where talent drops fast (RB/TE early, QB/WR later). Pair it with ADP to find steals. Master VORP and you stop drafting “good” players in a vacuum. You start building championship rosters by exploiting positional scarcity. There are pros and cons to this philosophy and strategy, but the more you know the more you can develop your favorite. What’s your biggest VORP takeaway this season? Drop it below 👇 #FantasyFootball #VORP #ValueBasedDrafting #YardzillaFantasySports
