Today's star: PETG - is relatively easy to print with low shrinkage, while being tough enough for mechanical applications. Can be beautifully transparent.

I wonder if @thisiskeithb knows, that some version of his compilation of the Marlin from 2020 is used in Anycubic Mega 2. I asked them for the source code and response was: "Company policy is not to publish our sourcode". Their software? Really?
