After four years full of challenges and hard work, it's time to move on. I leave with the feeling that the mission is complete. 4 seasons, 3 championships. I will never forget the love I received from the fans from my very first days. Catalonia is my place on earth. Thank you to everyone I met along the way during these beautiful four years. A special thank you to President Laporta for giving me the chance to live the most incredible chapter of my career. Barça is back where it belongs. Visca el Barça. Visca Catalunya 💙❤️ @fcbarcelona

There was Yinka Ayefele with "My Faith in God (Igbagbo Ireti)" in 2012 and now someone called BBO with "Amin" this year. Both stole their melodies from our original song "Seven Lifes". When will Nigerians (especially the so-called gospel musicians) learn to respect copyright?

The belief that we can keep killing wildlife without them going extinct has caused us to lose the following animals. 1. Cheetahs have now gone extinct in our wild. You can't see them again. 2. We used to have black rhinos. Now, they've gone extinct. You cannot see one single rhino in our wild again. 3. Giraffes are extinct in our wild, save for the 48 in Sumu Wildlife Park (a fenced reserve in Bauchi State) and 5 in small captive facilities. Others that are close to going extinct in Nigeria. 1. Lion: By estimate, we have just about 50 adult lions left in the whole country. 2. Cross River Gorillas: We have just about 100 Cross River Gorillas (the only species we have) in the country right now. Our forebearers had them in large numbers then. It is pardonable for them to think the animals cannot go extinct. Still, they had their own way of protecting some of these species. For our generation however, we are seeing the population decline. It will be irresponsible to hold on to thoughts of over 200 years ago when the realities are no longer the same.
Our forefathers having been hunting and eating bush meats before us. They beleived God gave them this animals for consumption and as such their kill can not outgrow the birth rate. They also believe that God will always provide more as they continue to kill and eat bush meat. 1/2

It's now the voices of Nigerians, especially key political oppositions should be loud. When we see an element of "terrorism" ..no one should be silent. It's not when FGN responds to this act of lawlessness that we will be shouting. PENGASSAN should be careful. God bless Nigeria.
PENGASSAN Declares Nationwide Strike Over Mass Sack at Dangote Refinery The Petroleum and Natural Gas Senior Staff Association of Nigeria (PENGASSAN) has declared a nationwide strike following the mass sack of over 800 of its members by Dangote Refinery. In a statement issued after an emergency National Executive Council (NEC) meeting on Saturday, PENGASSAN described the refinery’s action as “a deliberate violation of Nigeria’s labour laws, the Constitution, and ILO conventions.” The union said all its members working across field locations are to withdraw their services starting 6:00 a.m. on Sunday, September 28, 2025, effectively shutting down operations at control rooms, panels, and outfield facilities. Members in offices, companies, institutions, and agencies are to withdraw services from Monday, September 29, 2025. PENGASSAN also directed that all gas and crude oil supplies to Dangote Refinery be cut off immediately, and called on International Oil Companies (IOCs) to halt production and supply to the refinery and petrochemicals. The association accused Dangote Refinery of replacing Nigerian workers with over 2,000 foreign workers, calling it “a show of disloyalty to a country that has given the company the most incentives any company has ever enjoyed in Nigeria.” PENGASSAN warned that the strike will continue until the sacked workers are reinstated and labour laws are respected, insisting that “no man or company, no matter how highly placed, is above the law.”

To the Commonwealth Family, It is time for Africa. After 100 years of the Commonwealth Games, they have never been hosted on African soil. By bringing the Commonwealth Centenary Games to Nigeria in 2030, you will send a powerful message that every region of the Commonwealth matters, and that Africa is not only part of the story, but central to its future. Nigeria is the gateway. Africa is the stage. The Commonwealth is the family. Let us make history together in 2030. Let us complete the circle of Commonwealth unity. The dream must be realized. The time is now. Bola Ahmed Tinubu President Federal Republic of Nigeria 🇳🇬
