if you want to stand out say things that people aren't used to seeing
ad targeting lawyers? whack a bloody emoji in your copy, they read through walls of text all day
black friday promo email? I saw a trouser co call it black thighday and it immediately stood out in my inbox
going to either have a huge fail or success story next month thanks to a 20k investment on an event and the stupidly bad luck of 3 workers unions just announcing they are striking on the exact days of said event
tubes/buses/trains
kill me dead
fucking london
time to plan
a good example of poorly aligned comms is @unity
they have their SMM tweeting absurd replies and getting mocked (they are also probably getting defensive and taking comments personally cause they are stressed af) whilst a fireside chat is popping off on YT
tits need calming
I can only imagine the silos they have between departments and the amount of chats they have behind closed doors that aren't fed down the line to the poor geezas having to deal with things at the coal face
𧡠I know I post about my Google Ad wins but lemme shine a light into the world of LinkedIn ads for B2B... don't. lol jk
don't do it how you think you should
I've experimented with TOO MANY campaigns on LI and the best ones are retargeting those who visit my GALP with a LILP
also, think about focusing less on actions and more on awareness with LI - they've already engaged when looking for a solution on Google... remind them why they need this solution e.g social proof, use cases, stats etc.
love your brand, not trying to sell
it will do it for you
record heat in the UK and I've already mowed my front lawn and just about to do the garden
you can't stop dads and we won't stop either
might even have a BBQ and argument with the Mrs to keep things real
can wait for my 3 year old to run about all day like normal then have an absolute heat stroke meltdown later - time to bring out the water cannons I think
or just pee on him if he gets ultra annoying
friendtech trending all of a sudden again is a bear flag
why?
some of it's key shillers haven't bothered logging in to it for like a week or longer
having your users lose interest so quickly into launch is bearish
now some of them have got bored and started the hype ykwhn
spent Β£119 today on ads
7.64% CTR
9% conversion rate
2 conversions at Β£59.31 each
1 conv = minimum Β£30k a year
so far this month I've spent Β£970 with similar avgs
generated 18 conversions so far - all with serious commercial intent
sales will still moan π
if you think a project is gonna do well cause it's backed by [insert VC name] then you need to read up how savage proper VCs can be
some VCs want fast growth and big payouts, your company to go from start up to 100m before it even hits 10m
some founders aren't ready for this
