#WHA79 Day 3 recap! Yesterday was another exciting day of packed rooms and stimulating discussions. Topics ranged from building resilient health systems to translating commitments into action, engaging civil society in global health governance, and the links between #UHC and global health architecture reform, to mention a few. Congratulations to our partners for their successful events and unfailing commitment to #HealthForAll! The civil society networking space is now closed, but we’re still in Geneva for the remainder of the #WHA. We’re particularly looking forward to this Friday’s discussion on the process for global health architecture reform. Stay tuned for updates! And if you believe civil society should be included in the governance structure for this process, remember to sign and share HEAR CSO’s statement here: hearcso.org/hear-cso-stateme… @UNITE_MPNetwork @UnitedGMH @IAPOvoice @icpssocial @_ATscale @GATE_AT_World @HI_UK @WorldRehabA @CSOs4UHC

Health data has enormous potential: better diagnoses, smarter research, more equitable care. But without robust governance, the same data can concentrate power, erode privacy, and deepen the very inequalities digital health promises to fix. On the sidelines of #WHA79, we’re launching an advocacy tool that promotes data governance frameworks that protect the collection and use of health data. 📅 18 May 2026, 16h30 CEST 🔗 To attend in person or online: forms.gle/5WHyTf2r5yRDunnk6

#QuitoRenace

Over the past 50 years, vaccines have saved more than 150 million lives. That’s 6 lives saved every minute, every day. Thanks to vaccines, more children now live to see their first birthday — and go to school, work, raise families, and grow old — than at any other point in history. That’s why this #WorldImmunizationWeek we’re urging governments to invest in #UniversalHealthCoverage, prioritizing #PrimaryHealthCare, so that everyone, everywhere, can access essential services — including vaccines — when and where they need them. #VaccinesWork. And #UHC ensures that they reach everyone, everywhere.
