Ima throw my 2 cents in the Jay-z and Target “controversy”. No one bats an eye when other rappers, some who have socially conscious messaging in their music, do partnerships with retailers like Target, Walmart, etc but when Jay-Z does it everyone is ready to grab pitchforks and clutch their pearls. Go to your local target today, you’ll see target exclusive vinyls from at least 5-10 different rappers why not hold them accountable? Or does accountability start and ends with Hov? The real question is if you have a problem with Jay’s Target partnership why do you still shop at Target? A lot of ya’ll have a crabs in a barrel mentality and be virtual signaling without any action and that’s why it’s hard for me to take ya’ll serious. Sincerly, DogNinja
