Like anyone cares what I have to say, but... Charlie Kirk's politics were repulsive and the world is better off without *that*, but all human beings mean something to someone, and they are all capable of change and redemption. The loss of that possibility is always a tragedy.

that said, the right wing and their economic patrons have foreclosed the possibility of peaceful reform, while deliberately and systematically promoting violence and hate as a way of advancing their political agenda. sooner or later that always comes back to bite.

it would be nice if we weren't saddled with Don or Elon's howling emotional void writ large, or whatever the fuck is wrong with Commander Vance of Gilead, but that's not what we were dealt. if we can't sidestep them, we have to go through them, whatever that means. but we will.
