This is the Prepper Matrix. I find it super useful to help me think about all areas of preparation. It can be a little overwhelming, but start with what seems manageable and do a little at a time. If nothing else it gives you a lot to think about.

To everyone who got the prepping bug the last few years (2020) and has given it up. Remember things will happen when you least expect it. When hardships arrive, they will be unexpected and very few will be ready. Choose to prepare when it's not popular.

New stakes for that USA vs. UK soccer match on the 5th of July! If the USA wins, then we make a few changes to the rules to make soccer more interesting.... and the name change thing too. If you guys win, we'll send over some Texas BBQ pitmasters to live there permanently. x.com/TheBabylonBee/status/2…

America playing England on the 4th of July for the World Cup?? I might watch my first soccer match if this is real. The stakes couldn't be higher. Winner gets to decide what we call soccer going forward! No take backs! For the record, the name soccer comes from the British. The word "soccer" originated in 19th-century England as a slang abbreviation of "Association Football". It was created by university students to differentiate the game from "Rugby Football" (which they called "Rugger").

Honestly, the over reaction to teachings of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, has led many Christians to reject teachings from their own scriptures, and Jesus Christ Himself.

The arrogance of gatekeepers who are so certain of their position that they can discard 14 or so centuries of believers to an eternal torment of hellfire and damnation is astonishing.
Replying to @RestoredTruth8
Hearing Lizzie clarify her positions really helps to understand where she is coming from. What is most interesting is that she seems to suggest that "probably" there were some "true Christians" between 100 A.D. and whenever she dates the reformation which is how she constructs it as a "reformation" instead of a "restoration" because otherwise her position is in fact that there was an absolute requirement for a restoration. She has an extremely narrow view and might actually believe she is the only Christian alive today.

Honestly, from the bottom of my soul: I don’t care if you call it left or right. I don’t want children in Gaza to die. I don’t want children in Ukraine to die. I don’t want people forced to leave home, cross oceans, and end up doing desperate things just to survive. And I don’t want the people who were born in peaceful towns to lose the peace they grew up with. I just want a world where kids can grow old. Where families can eat dinner together. Where dads can yell at the TV during an NFL game. Where moms can buy way too much at Costco. Where neighbors argue about barbecue, gas prices, and basketball. A boring, ordinary, safe life. That should not be a political dream. That should be the minimum we ask of Earth.

This is unsurprising and matches what many of us already suspected. What is is perhaps most surprising is how often people antagonistic towards our beliefs defeat themselves by asking Grok to support their notions only to get corrected in the response. I have found that often if I ask a question of Grok that is religious in nature it will give me a response that is slanted. If I then give it a explicit fact and aask if it is true, it will acknowledge it, then ask it to go back and reconcile the two it will see it's logical error, but it demonstrates the bias, and how it is pre-built into the system. I get it, I have my own biases from my childhood that I have never questioned until confronted and forced to question when having new facts in front of me. I don't think AI is that different. They are built with training models and their creators fed models that they considered useful and accurate. I don't see any way this ever changes. All we can do is make adjustments for it. AI will always be a reflection of society.
Researchers just discovered a major gap in AI models that affects 75% of the world’s population, and reveals a stunning bias against an unexpected group of people.

Who knew there was a fruit with a name that took even longer to pronounce than the name of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints?
My whole life I have been pronouncing banana wrong. Who would have thought.

🤣 Chinese brand Yueban has unveiled a smart toilet on wheels With the press of a button, the device drives itself to the user, eliminating the need to walk to the bathroom. The company says it is designed primarily for elderly people and those with limited mobility. After use, the gadget can wash both the user and itself before returning to its docking station for a full self-disinfection cycle. 🎮💻 Somewhere, a gamer just whispered: “Finally.”

I am happy for Freddy, at a certain point the jealousy is starting to settle in. NASA really? If he gets a guided tour of SpaceX... I don't know know man. Good for him. this is literally the trip of not just "A" lifetime, but maybe everyone's lifetime.
This is the coolest thing ever. We’re at NASA getting a tour from astronaut Anne McClain. This is us entering the Orion capsule that flew around the Moon in April.

British food beats Mexican "food"... Posts a picture of "Mexican food" made in the UK, by brits. Real Mexican food vs. British food.
British food beats Mexican "food" by a country mile. Mexican slop is literally tortillas covered in sick with a few beans

Eating in Mexico coming from England or Scotland has got to be a transcendent experience. Like seeing colors for the first time

🧵This is accurate, and the correct response when people say, "But most most Americans don't even have a passport!" Utah has 11 distinct regions that are in many cases unique in North America. This doesn't even touch on the cultural variations within the state, a whole other discussion. I will provide a representative image from each in the following posts. Beginning with the most iconic, the Salt Flats. Lake Bonneville Region (Northwest)Representative photo: The vast, otherworldly Bonneville Salt Flats. I'm starting to think America isn't one country 🇺🇸 Every time I post, an American replies: "well that's not true in MY state." Taxes? Different. Laws? Different. Roads, schools, even the SNACKS? Different. Is it fair to say the US is basically 50 small countries wearing one big flag? Quote tweet with your state — prove me right or wrong 🙋

You can see why Utah has been a favored filming location since Hollywood's inception. Within one state they can find spots that represent nearly any landscape, add the bonus of extra's who speak virtually any language they might need for their film and it's a pretty great place. You might even say, This IS the place.
