i dont disagree but using an image of them catching butterflies as irrefutable proof that theyre kids is genuinely killing me. theres way better examples of them being young and you choose an activity that can be done by anyone at any age

if anyone wants my thoughts on the matter i always assumed they were young teens/preteens in the show (their behaviour, the way elder kettle treats them/talks about them) and potentially older teens in the game (gambling or whatever)

as in i think as part of said cosplay he literally stuffed his shirt or something as part of it (since again it looks like he's specifically trying to emulate marceline). thats really fucking funny he did not need to go to that extra effort
