Life has been hitting her hard after losing her job in the HIV sector bc of sw-related discrimination. Aids Services Organizations are happy to employ us in low paid jobs as tokens, but don't want to accommodate the realities of our lives or listen us!

The divide between person first language and whatever group/movement calls themselves really shows in public health based harm reduction spaces. We call ourselves sex workers, progressive government bodies call us people who trade sex. Same with drug user/PWUD, autistic etc
