The Investment Psyop
for the last five years, influencers have been running an insane investment psyop on normies, feeding them the same lie: stocks are risk-free and the S&P 500 only goes up.
now everyone with a bit of spare cash has a portfolio that is supposed to make them a millionaire by 40.
and of course, it is loaded with amazing pre-revenue companies that are somehow going to be worth trillions one day. so why not price in all that magical future revenue today? for some insane reason, everyone believes this shit.
it feels like everyone has forgotten the simplest rule: the louder everyone screams at you to buy, the harder you should be selling.
meanwhile, real assets have become almost unreachable for the average person. almost nobody can simply afford to buy an apartment or a house anymore.
while you spend decades saving for one, billion-dollar funds will keep absorbing the available supply.
and the apartment that looked affordable when you started saving will cost several times more in 5-10 years.
you will watch the number in your portfolio go up and think you are getting richer, while everything you were saving for, moves even further out of reach.
and thats the best scenario, worst case we are gonna have a worldwide economy collapse that will destroy middle class once again.
i could be wrong about it right now, but eventually markets will bleed.
