My school district is located in upstate NY, small title 1 district that is feeling budget constraints as we had to cut 8 teaching positions going into next year. I have been teaching for 23 years and have been a wrestling official for 29 years. I am looking for 2 major supplies for my classroom, writing utensils (pens and pencils) and antacid tablets (used for weathering and rates of change labs). I have about 70-75 students each year and go through a lot of those supplies. Tissues are always a necessity in any classroom and I would be grateful for anyone to help with those as well. Finally left the house in this gross weather of below 0 windchill. Basketball game and have to go to my classroom to clean up for open house tomorrow. 😵‍💫🫠. Open house is going to kill me I think

It’s a -34 windchill kinda day. Elearning in progress. I don’t even have to be on meet all day and I hate it. One of my kids has been on live elearning for 3 days due to water main break. My dogs, one living her best life. One wising for summer. #teacher #teachermom

Current conditions….elearning day. I loathe elearning, but it’s better than going outside.
