We are pleased to announce that the distribution of royalties from digital platforms to our valued members will commence tomorrow, 2 June 2026.

Dear Musicians, contracts are not a sign of mistrust, they are a foundation for clarity, professionalism, and mutual understanding. Memories may fade over time, but written agreements remain clear and dependable. Always protect your work by putting agreements in writing.

Yesterday our Chairperson, Mr. Alexio Gwenzi, engaged with officials from SAMRO (South Africa Music Rights Organisation) and CAPASSO (Composers, Authors and Publishers Association) in Johannesburg, South Africa. The strategic meetings focused on benchmarking and exchanging notes to adopt regional best practices. We remain committed to continuously improving our systems and enhancing the level of assistance and value we deliver to our stakeholders.

SUPREME COURT FAVOURS ZIMURA, CONTRARY TO ZICCO's MISLEADING CLAIMS

Yesterday, our Board Chairperson Mr Alexio Gwenzi and the Zimura team met with the Deputy Minister for Sports, Recreation, Arts and Culture Hon Emily Jesaya to discuss the roadmap for Zimbabwe’s music industry. The delegation addressed the hurdles currently facing the CMO and assured the Ministry that they are working tirelessly to protect members' interests against external interference. Hon. Jesaya urged for closer synergy between Zimura and the Ministry noting that the welfare of our artists is a shared priority. Moving forward, together!
