Using verilator to test a MOS8580 module (SID chip on the C64 computer). 25 bytes from a dump file are sent to SID registers every 20ms. 44.1k times/s, audio data is read and sent to stdout. Executable is piped to sox, which plays audio in realtime. @fpga_languages @zxchris
I was in the need of measuring as exactly as I could, the time between two vretrace interrupts in the Spectrum. The theory says that this is 69888 T states in a 48K ULA and 70908 T states in a 128K ULA. This translates to roughly 50.08013 Hz for the 48K and 50.0211 Hz for 128K.
So is this fix documented anywhere? I couldn't find it, as well as the root cause: the glitch in the ULA INT generation. If not, well, here's this thread in order to serve as documentation purposes :)

Por cierto… e=0.5gt^2 -> t=sqrt(2e/g)=sqrt(2*100/9.8)=4.5175 s en llegar al suelo -> no le da tiempo. v=gt=9.8*4.5175=44.27 m/s en el momento del impacto -> se mata.
About two months ago, I came across this Korg M1 keyboard, in very good looking condition. And for only 89€ ! Too good to be true! A warning "some keys do not work". Ok! Maybe some dirt or corrosion. I'll take it home!
Little I know this would become a challenge repairment work!
After checking that everything was in good working order again, I found the default programming sequence (you know, the one that starts with "Universe" at patch 00), put a fresh CR2032 battery, and transmitted to the Korg via MIDI.
And, well... that's all. This synth is truly awesome! I have yet to study all that it can do. It's the first time I own a true synthesizer. This small video just tests that all B keys are working again. Nothing fancy (no Show Me Love riff here!)
Oh, and.. .boy! it's heavy!
