The works form part of the council’s ongoing investment in libraries and community facilities, ensuring they remain fit for purpose and continue to meet the needs of local residents.

Downstairs, there’s new furniture, improved lighting, fresh decoration, new signage, and carpeting, creating a brighter and more accessible environment. The children’s library has also been completely refreshed, offering a welcoming space for younger readers and families.

Thanks to funding from the Welsh Government, the library now features upgraded public PCs and an expanded non-fiction collection on the upper floor, along with a brand-new community room equipped with the latest technology to support events and activities.

A Huge Milestone for the Club! This weekend marked a truly special moment for our club we finally played at our brand-new home ground, featuring impeccable pitches and incredible facilities. This project has been years in the making, starting before Covid, and at times it felt like the day would never come. But we made it and we did it together. None of this would have been possible without the incredible support we’ve received. Our heartfelt thanks go to the Cymru Football Foundation @CymruFdn for their funding, CMB Engineering @CMBEngineering for providing the shortfall funding for the pitches and clubhouse through their Corporate Social Responsibility programme, Cardiff Council for their invaluable grant aid and Cardiff University @CardiffUniSport as pitch leaseholders who have provided us with tenure to enable the club to develop the ground. We couldn’t be prouder of what we’ve achieved and even more excited for what’s to come.
