Delighted to attend the annual football ⚽️ memorial match in remembrance of Captain Stephen Healey of the Royal Welsh who died in Afghanistan in 2013. I represented the Council at his funeral (as Deputy Lord Mayor) it was a deeply moving occasion in #Llanrumney #LestWeForget

Great news for #Llanrumney as consultation takes place to see installation of a new modern concrete skatepark by @cardiffcouncil to replace the current timber framed one at Eastern Leisure Centre.

A new skatepark is being proposed for Llanrumney which would see a modern concrete skatepark replacing the existing timber framed skatepark near Eastern Leisure Centre. An online consultation is currently open asking for input into the design.

It’s a brilliant read and gives some insight into how this charity came to be and everything that led up to its creation.
