-------------------------- ⏹️ Spicy DeFi Nugget: -------------------------- 🟦 @Base’s Bridged TVL massively dwarfs its on-chain DeFi TVL: $19.6B vs $4.4B, respectively. 🟦 This disparity confirms that Base is a massive liquidity corridor -- users are moving capital quickly through the chain (or sitting on the sidelines) and not locking their assets into local DeFi protocols. 🟦 This indicates (to me) that Base is evolving as THE pivot point for cross-chain asset flow. 🟦 While Base’s DeFi ecosystem is strong, its real muscle lies in facilitating cross-chain access, onboarding, and eventual reinvestment -- pretty much the @Coinbase effect in motion. 🟥 In other words: the money’s there, it’s just waiting for the right reason to get to work. ---------------------------- 🟧 How You Can Play It ---------------------------- Capital is waiting on the sidelines in stablecoins or bluechips. Newer/smaller protocols could see fast inflows once users start hunting yield.
