The company 812.eth works for was threatened by Binance, leading to 812.eth retracting their article (about exposing Binance server outages). Below is a conversation I had with 812.eth and his friends (originally in Chinese, translated into English)

Recently, a post titled “A Market Maker Friend Speaks Out” has drawn attention in the community. We have looked into the matter and found the post contained inaccuracies and misleading statements.
First and foremost, the allegations did not originate from any market maker as claimed. This is simply false. Instead, these allegations were made by an independent third-party trader who was conducting trades on behalf of an investment firm.
Here are the facts and findings from our review and clarification with the investment firm:
1️⃣ The investment firm confirmed that the independent trader was not authorized to speak on behalf of the investment firm, and the allegations do not represent the firm’s position, and the firm also does not stand behind these allegations.
2️⃣ The firm informed us that they had officially terminated its engagement of the trader on October 13, 2025.
3️⃣ The firm has withdrawn the compensation claim against Binance that was initiated by the trader.
4️⃣ The firm has also since requested the independent trader to withdraw his allegations on social media and expressly reaffirmed that the trader is prohibited from representing the firm.
Binance also wishes to take the opportunity to clarify to the community that Reduce Only (RO) orders are not affected by Futures API circuit-breaker or throttling protection mechanisms. Such orders are still subject to position checks and trigger price validation; however, Close-position, reduce-only, and cancel orders are exempt and do not return any “503 (-1008)” error.
Binance consistently adheres to the principle of being responsible to users, the market, and the facts: if there is an issue with the platform, we will not evade responsibility; but where no issue exists, we will not accept unfounded allegations.
We also like to remind all users and community members that the crypto market is highly volatile, and investment risks are inherent. Please trade responsibly, manage leverage prudently, and exercise sound risk management at all times.
We appreciate your understanding and continued support.
