when writing some of the code by hand to help internalise and design the system, i don't get the same creativity with the product ideas that i get while yolo-vibing up a bunch of nonsense
so i think... the practice is switching in and out of those gears might be the way

A Rust dev built a Python compiler in 90 days. 13K lines of no_std Rust. ~170KB WASM output. ๐ฆ
Edge Python runs a sandboxed Python subset in the browser, Cloudflare Workers, and Wasmtime (anywhere WASM runs). Already landed a sponsor.
The part that stands out: no async/await. The VM handles scheduling, so sleep() suspends from any function. No infection up the call chain.

Personal update: I've joined Anthropic. I think the next few years at the frontier of LLMs will be especially formative. I am very excited to join the team here and get back to R&D. I remain deeply passionate about education and plan to resume my work on it in time.
