@RoyalMail are you aware that you app isn’t working? I’ve tried both on my phone and via my MacBook and can’t book postage on either as it won’t show me any drop off options. This is costing me time and money as I send products to customers regularly this way.

If I then have to go to a post office counter I have to go through the purchase hassle for each package and pay more than I would online. Please get this sorted out. It’s litterally crippling for a small business and it’s taking money away from what little profit there is!

At a time that small business are being squeezed harder than ever before!

@RoyalMail please understand that every time your app or website stops working it affects small businesses massively. I have been unable to send any parcels for my online business today meaning everything is delayed. This reflects badly on my business!

And to add insult to injury I got to the end of the queue and had to pay a higher price for my parcels at the counter than I would have online and have now missed today’s collection. A higher price for a lesser service. And this comes off of my profit margins and not RM’s!

As I couldn’t book them on prepaid online I went to my local post office and the queue as insane as plenty of other people were having the same problem! It won’t let you select a drop off option as there’s an error!

@RevolutApp just had a call from a lady on 07915 613103 claiming to be calling from Revolut. When I said I was crazy busy she started asking me who I bank with and being really persistent despite me telling her several times that I don’t have time for the call. 1/2

If she was indeed from your company may I suggest that when a business owner says they are too busy for the call that should be that! Also I don’t think calling on a mobile and asking for business banking info (even if it is only the bank name) is the best way to win confidence!

@QuickBooksUK seriously what the hell is going on with your iOS app? Problems after every update in the last year or so and this time all of the shortcuts disappeared. Can’t see invoices, receipt snap etc etc. now the update this morning won’t allow the app to even open!!!!!!!!🤬

@QuickBooksUK As if small business owners haven’t got enough pressures right now you are literally adding massive stress to my working days! QB is there to make our lives easier and it driving me bloody mad that it’s been so bad so often, for so long!!! Sort it out ffs!!!! 😩

I’ve thoroughly enjoyed listening to @simonsquibb on @BBCBerkshire tonight. I can relate to so much of this. Inspiring stuff. I’ve only recently realised what I want to be when I grow up (in my late 40’s!). Keep fighting for improvements in our broken school system 💪🏽

Disappointed with these Adventuridge “Pile Driver” pegs. Every bloody one is buckling under very little pressure yet my friends £3.50 Halfords ones are having no problems in the same ground! @AldiUK these are not fit for purpose! 😞

I swear by I just spotted @RealRomfordPele strolling past the @HenleyHawks rugby club half an hour ago. I might be Spurs through and through but I do love listening to him on @TSBreakfast 👌🏽

@WhitworthsSugar please help. DPD were supposed to deliver my order last Tuesday and didn’t despite claiming they tried (picture showed wrong unit). DPD said they’d send it the following day but didn’t arrive. Emailed, phoned and insta messaged your customer care and no response!

I emailed on Thursday - no response. Insta messaged this morning - no response as yet. I’ve phoned six times today so far and just get through to a voicemail (I’ve left a message and no response as yet). I need my delivery and DPD are just giving me the run around!

@JimWhite @Sjopinion10 Peter has just described my hearing issue to a tee! Had a hearing test about 20yrs ago that confirmed frequency issues but not bad enough for a hearing aid. I’ve just left it and got on with life. Avoid noisy nights out though as find myself lip reading.

Either that or just switching off which can come across as rude! Often get friends and family saying “are you deaf?” or “clean your ears out” if I ask them to repeat themselves several times. I don’t think they realise what it’s like!

@JimWhite the problem with lack of regular drug testing in the professional football game is that a player can enhance their physical attributes, jump up a tier or two and sign a contract that will see them and their family set for life without getting caught.

@JimWhite or if caught a large proportion of the money may well have been banked. I wonder if clubs can reclaim the investment that they have made on a player if found guilty of doping?

A lovely evening at the @kentontheatre with these legends 👌🏽

Bloody hell @JimWhite I really hope you’re not being serious with not understanding @Sjopinion10 100% accurate take on the difference between the olympics being national representation vs self representation competition! It’s not complicated 🤦🏽‍♂️

@Sjopinion10 loved listening to your views on quotas within sport for minorities earlier and I wholly agree that quotas are not the answer. In fact I don’t think they are the answer in society full stop. Firstly let me be clear, I am mixed race and run my own food business 1/2

I have just applied to a scheme where my food products can be championed by a major supermarket and on completing the online application there was a box to check asking if I represented any in the listed minorities as 20% of the successful applicants would be selected from these.

Contd. Ethnic minority, disability, minority gender, financially deprived etc. I don’t really fit into any of those categories but it bothers me that people could get help because of quotas over merit! I’ve worked 7 days a week for the best part of 4yrs building this business 🤷🏽‍♂️

@JimWhite @Sjopinion10 you never know how you’ll handle death threats until it happens to you. A couple of years ago I had threats made to me from some weirdo who I wouldn’t sell my car to. He had my phone number and was telling me that my house would be firebombed etc

The thought of this person harming my Mrs and kids made me feel sick to my stomach and I had instant anxiety. Even the police couldn’t reassure me. If it was just about me I’d have dealt with it so much better but when he named my family it completely derailed me!
