If convicted, she faces up to 20 years in prison.

The Trump administration will never fire someone based on an MSNBC report (other NY Times, etc). Just like any intelligent person wont expect action by the Biden Administration from Fox News or Breitbart, despite the latter two having a much more factual record (provably so).
