Jesus technology, huh? … This you?
Elon Musk says his company is as impressive as Jesus Christ’s miracles. Elon Musk has once again ignited intense public debate by comparing his latest technological ventures to biblical miracles. During a recent video address at an event in Israel, the billionaire entrepreneur described the potential of his brain-computer interface company, Neuralink, as achieving "Jesus-level" results. Musk specifically highlighted the company’s goals of restoring mobility to tetraplegics and sight to the blind, suggesting these medical interventions parallel the legendary deeds of religious figures. While Neuralink has successfully implanted chips that allow users to control computer cursors with their thoughts, the comparison has drawn sharp criticism from those who believe Musk is inflating his company's current capabilities with messianic rhetoric. Despite the bold claims, industry experts note that Neuralink's current achievements align closely with existing brain-interface technologies rather than unprecedented breakthroughs. While the prospect of curing paralysis and blindness is undeniably revolutionary, the company has yet to provide definitive clinical evidence that its hardware can achieve these specific milestones. This branding follows a long-standing pattern of bombastic marketing from the SpaceX and Tesla CEO, who frequently uses high-stakes metaphors to drive valuation and public interest. As Neuralink moves deeper into human trials, the world is watching to see if Musk can deliver on these divine promises or if the rhetoric will eventually clash with the complex realities of medical science. source: Christian, J. (2026). Elon Musk Compares His Work to Miracles Performed by Jesus Christ. Futurism.

Even many Redditors are critiquing Homelander being written into a shallow Trump caricature. Kripke completely lost the plot.

Feelings about the episode aside, people need to stop treating 6s and 7s like they're bad.
'The Boys' S5 finale is at 6.7 on IMDb The final two episodes are the lowest-rated in the show's history

Did you know that Black Noir II somehow caused more planetary damage than Homelander in Season 5? Homelander’s been treated like the final boss for years, but Noir literally caused the worst oil disaster in human history. Entire ecosystems destroyed, irreversible environmental damage, and probably a few species wiped out because of him. Meanwhile, Homelander’s biggest recent achievement was sending one guy to space. So purely by stats alone, Black Noir II might actually be the biggest villain in the series now. It’s hilarious that by refusing to give Homelander a full rampage in the finale, the show accidentally made Noir objectively worse.

Anyone who has seen the Nuremburg footage will disagree. Only Che Guevara cried like a little bitch.
In The Boys finale, Homelander had to look powerless according to Eric Kripke “Yeah, it was really important to us for Homelander to at least experience a little bit of time powerless.” “People have asked me, ‘Well, why don’t you send him out in the world powerless, wouldn’t that be the ultimate punishment?’ “I’m like, it would, until he gets his hands on some more Compound V, and then you’re back to where you started.” “So, he cannot walk out of that room alive, but we can spend time with him powerless to really reveal what everyone’s been saying all season, which is, ‘Take away those powers and you are nothing.’ “And he’s so cowardly and blubbering and pathetic, as are most strong men when you remove their power and they’re and they’re faced with their imminent death, they rarely handle it bravely.”
