Fixing up some kids bikes for the local pre-school and it struck me what poor quality some of them are! Loose bearings, bubbling paint, no care taken to setup of brakes or headsets. Glad I have the time to give them a once over but some of these must only be a year or two old.

Yes they get hammered by the kids but they are kept indoors, they shouldn’t be that rusty!
They are from the usual suspects @Halfords_uk & @DecathlonUK - so if you are buying from these stores take extra care and you would be better off going to your LBS if you can find one.

A new record today….
6 fucking punctures in a two hour ride!!
(3 sealed with the tubeless, two required a plug and the third wouldn’t seal with a plug so was a pump and run)
I think my tyres are officially cooked.
Off to get some fresh shoes for the gravel bike tomorrow.

220w rider pulls away as fat bloke is blowing a gasket to maintain 300w (that’s me by the way)
