And now NASCOURT followers, we have the second amended complaint in JGR v. Gabehart & Spire, which was filed yesterday consistent with the timeline I mentioned below. Two new paragraphs (129 & 130) in the second amended complaint assert that a Spire employee has been telling a JGR employee that Gabehart has been engaging in actions that would violate both the noncompete in his employment contract and the two court orders prohibiting him from engaging in conduct that would violate the noncompete with Spireβs knowledge and support. The defendant will each need to file their answers (the formal response to the second amended complaint) within the next two weeks. Happy Friday, here is your JGR v Gabehart & Spire NASCOURT update. JGRβs motion for leave to file a second amended complaint was granted. JGR has until Monday to file that. The defendants will then have two weeks to file their answers to the second amended complaint. This will be Spireβs first time answering. Based on what Jeff Dickerson has said during interviews, I expect that we may see counterclaims from Spire in the answer. If Gabehart is still claiming that he was not properly compensated or that JGR violated provisions of his employment contract, I would also expect to see counterclaims from him.

From the very first time I sat in a race car, Steve Waid was writing about it. I spent a large portion of my NASCAR years reading and believing everything Steve Waid wrote. Sounds like the pit stalls at San Diego will be smaller than those at Watkins Glen.
San Diego: 28' 2" x 16 '6"
Watkins Glen: 29' 4" x 17' 8"
Closest in size would likely be Bristol where the stalls are 27' 6" x 16".
Still going through the transcript, but I believe he said 28 feet, 2 inches by 16 feet, 6 inches.
