Aldon Smith passed away today at the age of 36 ๐
Statement from the 49ers:

It's no mystery that I do not like Grant Cohn or his cliq.And i find it funny that other content creators will defend him no matter how stupid or asinine his takes are, because they want to get the rub by possibly collaborating with him to grow their channel. I on the other hand don't care about that, that ship sailed a long time ago. It's pretty pathetic that people will sell out for the possibility of blowing up.

49ers SI reporter @grantcohn was on with @BMitchandFinlay and gave his thoughts on why the Brandon Aiyuk situation went nuclear:
He says SF has a "frat boyish, corporate" culture where you have to "bend the knee," and Aiyuk refused.
"De'Vondre Campbell straight up quit the team mid-game a couple of years ago and people called him crazy, but it's like when it's one guy after another, it makes you feel like there's a clique of in-group players on this team, and then there's everyone else."
