#LoveHasFireworks author post on weibo:
Today marks my seventeenth year writing on Jinjiang Literature City. On June 14, 2009, I cluelessly opened a column on Jinjiang and cluelessly started writing.
Seventeen years have passed in a flash.
I feel a bit sentimental.
Taking this opportunity, let me talk about "We Live Together."
In 2014, as a struggling artist in Beijing, I attended a high school reunion at the Sichuan Provincial Government restaurant. My classmates, each with their own experiences and achievements in Beijing, chatted enthusiastically. After the reunion, we settled a classmate who had traveled from out of town into the Changying Hotel.
While sitting in the lobby of the Changying Hotel waiting for them to check in, my inspiration began to burst forth.
Back in my rented room in Sanlihe, I opened a document and began writing the first chapter of "We Live Together."
At the time, I just had inspiration, wanted to write, without thinking too much, without expecting any success, and certainly without hoping for a film or television adaptation. Because at that time, there were very few works for sale, and I didn't dare to hope for that.
As I wrote, I realized the story was receiving a better response than I'd anticipated. It started appearing on the monthly charts, made it onto the homepage's top list, and I kept getting messages from friends and even several editors at Jinjiang Literature City asking for my drafts, eager to see what happened next. Having editors on the site following my story gave me a real sense of satisfaction.
Later, the story won an award from the China Writers Association, was designated a key support project by the association, and appeared on the China Writers Association's Chinese Online Novel Ranking. However, because the original title, *We Live Together*, was considered too humorous, it was changed to the more sophisticated-sounding *Investment Banking Men and Women* to match the awards. This is why the novel has two names [not a simple matter].
After that, many film and television companies inquired about the rights.
After the rights were sold, a long scriptwriting process ensued. This process was full of twists and turns, hardships, personnel changes, laughter, tears, and regrets. It was too difficult to describe here, so I'll omit several 800-word paragraphs.
Finally, in 2023, it was finally adapted into a film.
From its initial filming in 2023 to its final broadcast, the journey has been incredibly long and arduous.
From 2014 to 2026, from words on a webpage to finally airing on satellite TV, from "We Live Together" to "Love Has Fireworks," it's been a truly remarkable journey.
But regardless, it's finally airing! Airing is a victory in itself!
The drama premieres tomorrow! Wishing it a phenomenal success! [yeah]
Wishing the "very rich" couple, Li Yifei and Qian Fei, great success for everyone! ๐ May everyone become "rich together" while watching the drama! ๐ May all those "daydreaming" come true! ๐ May the burning flame of love bless everyone's careers, studies, and luck, making them "soar to new heights"! ๐
On our 17th anniversary, thank you all for your support! *bows*
