This is peak progressive hypocrisy, served raw and ugly.
For years AOC has built her entire brand screaming about the evils of the patriarchy. Sheโs the self-appointed champion of womenโs rights ... equal pay, abortion access, paid leave, workplace safety,
#MeToo accountability, the whole routine. She never shuts up about โintersectionalityโ and how she stands shoulder-to-shoulder with โBlack and Brown, immigrant, Muslim, queer and trans womenโ against every structural barrier.
Then she voluntarily shows up at an Eid al-Adha rally in the Bronx wearing a hijab, stands in front of an all-male Muslim crowd, and gets loudly talked over the entire time sheโs trying to preach โsolidarityโ and โbringing light into the darkness.โ
They didnโt politely ignore her. They didnโt whisper. They full-volume chatted right through her like she was background noise ... exactly the way women get treated in that world every single day. She put on the scarf of submission, performed the pandering ritual for the cameras and the votes, and they still disrespected her to her face.
Thatโs what happens when coalition math meets actual cultural reality. Every ounce of her feminist outrage, every DEI sermon, every lecture about female empowerment instantly evaporated the moment it became politically convenient to court a voting bloc that doesnโt give a damn about any of it.
AOC didnโt just compromise. She publicly executed her own principles on the altar of power.
Her values donโt โend at the voting booth.โ They get sacrificed there without hesitation.
