GM builders dug into a cornercase on
@integra_layer that I haven't seen called out: integrating municipal title registries as native attestations on the Asset Passport. I prototyped a flow where a transfer TX remains conditional until a notarized registry-hash lands onchain, then a settlement hook atomically finalizes token ownership and pushes the legal re-recording step into the same auditable lifecycle
Practically this lets you structure conditional closings and sliced credit products: I ran a mock on a subdivided unit, created senior/junior payout waterfalls tied to title-attestation events, and simulated automated cure windows where servicer actions (notice, escrow top-up, refile) are all time‑boxed and visible on the passport. The result: less manual reconciliation, clearer legal provenance, and materially smaller assumed title‑risk buffers in the model
If title hashes notary attestations become standard rails on the passport, would structured real‑estate credit markets (CMBS‑style tranches, insured rent pools) look very different onchain? Who’s experimenting with actual land offices or title insurers to wire these attestations into
$IRL pools and settlement logic
