Today marks Day Two of the pilot testing of scalable digital skills training models for both inschool and out of school youth in both schools and the community.
At Yeta Community Centre in Imvepi Refugee Settlement, Terego District, the team is testing the Self-Paced E-Learning and Micro-Credential Model (SPECM), designed to support learners with prior exposure to progress at their own pace through structured content for certification, entrepreneurship, and work readiness.
Facilitators are being onboarded onto the @8learning_inst LMS, creating accounts and familiarizing themselves with the content they will deliver to participants over the coming days.

The session covered the use of the @8learning_inst Management Systems, social media platforms, digital communication and collaboration, as well as content creation and development.
Special emphasis was placed on the effective use of TikTok as an educational tool, alongside discussions on digital citizenship, responsible online engagement, and copyright considerations in content creation and sharing.
