I think Hockey is like country music. It was a slow burn to get to a mainstream point. Hockey right now is like country music was in 2012. It’s right on the cusps of a BIG break thru. On the country scene, when people started really finding out about guys like Eric Church, Jason Aldean, and Luke Bryan who brought a yacht rock flare to the scene it created momentum for what we see today in Morgan Wallen esq. Shit, look at Nashville these days. It’s cool to like country music. That wasn’t always the case. That’s where hockey is at. It’s finally trending. The USA Olympic gold was massive for the now and more importantly future generations. People are craving competitive playoff sport in the spring more than ever. The Association (NBA) is a joke. And I’m not a hardo hockey dude that just hates hoops because they make 75 million a year and don’t even try. I love ball. But the product stinks. Hockey in America is captivating eyeballs that it never had before in markets that were foreign even just 5 years ago.
