ALT "Where We're From." I am from calm lakes and rough seas, from loud colours and painted CD’s. I am from playing outside with friends and crafting with glue & sequins. I am from the warmth of a home. From the bright blue light of the TV screen. I am from cold, huge mountains, Sunday church & staying home with family at Christmas. I am from packed bags all through the summer. I am from the windows, high in the sky. I am from gazing at meteor showers and family movie nights. I am from broken hearts and sad faces. I am from watching sunsets float below the horizon. I am from family nights. From crowded malls and magical gardens, from crispy grass, tiny flowers and weeds. I am from the cities and mountains. I am from my protective family tree, of soldiers and love. I am from a hospital! I am from dogs; I play with them day and night. I am from tall mountains and calm lakes. I am from the dragon that flies in the sea. From sticky, sleepy summers. That is where I’m from, and that is who I am.
