Nah, I don't play games for charity. Yes, I'd like for Bungie to stay alive but not at the cost of my favorite IP to be buried - without a fight.
Speaking with my wallet means I will support Bungie by continuing to spend my money on Destiny 2.
Also, remember Titanfall 2?
Half the community is going to hate me for saying this, but the only way to keep Bungie alive right now is to support Marathon. People keep comparing Marathon numbers to Destiny and frankly, that's ignorant. Marathon was never designed to do Bungie numbers. The conversations about that were very upfront early. It's more aligned with Tarkov than Destiny. Completely different target markets that just so happen to have a wide intersection with Destiny target markets since it uniquely has so many.

Yep, same. AND I played throughout some of the driest seasons like EoF and Renegades. I was only off the game for 2 weeks before this latest update because I was sick.

Opportunism isn't appealing. It feels like this is a way to cash in on our misfortune & convince Destiny 2 players to just move on and play Warframe. Tried it. No thanks.
I'll continue to play Destiny 2.

I'm dead serious when I say this: There's no way Destiny doesn't live on after what has transpired in the Moments of Triumph and final update.
Everything we've seen - the content, the comments, the posts - everything leads me to believe Destiny exists beyond Destiny 2.

1. Emblem art is being updated to include Rise of Iron and Monument of Triumph.
2. For our Korean Guardians, we are also ensuring that you will qualify for the emblem if you began playing during Shadowkeep.
As a reminder, this emblem will be granted to qualifying players in waves. There are a lot of you! If you don't see it during our first wave, please hold until we've issued the second before submitting any missing emblem tickets.

We've seen some questions about the Old Lights emblem and the Elemental Qi emote, and we want to clarify how we are determining eligibility.
Did your Bungie ID and your accounts — across all platforms that you have linked to it between September 6, 2017 - June 8, 2026 — login and play Destiny 2 at least once during ALL of these time periods?
⚪ Destiny 2 Launch: September 6, 2017 - September 3, 2018
🪦 Forsaken: September 4, 2018 - September 30, 2019
🌕 Shadowkeep: October 1, 2019 - November 9, 2020
🧊 Beyond Light: November 10, 2020 - February 21, 2022
👑 Witch Queen: February 22, 2022 - February 27, 2023
❇️ Lightfall: February 28, 2023 - June 3, 2024
🔺 The Final Shape: June 4, 2024 - July 14, 2025
👁️ The Year of Prophecy: July 15, 2025 - June 8, 2026
If you can answer yes to ALL of these time periods, then you will receive the Old Lights emblem and the Elemental Qi emote during the Monument of Triumph launch window.
