This PhD study aims to explore the complexities of communication when patients wish to discuss assistance to die and gain insight into how and why nurses may respond to these discussions. The study is specifically interested in nurses whose work focuses on the end of life so if you work within specialist palliative care, this may be a hospital, community or hospice, we want to hear from you. You may have experience of patients wishing to discuss these issues or exploring choices at the end of their life, but you do not need specific experience of assistance to die requests to get involved.
