🚨 KNICKS FANS TURN NYC CELEBRATION INTO CHAOS, VIOLENCE ERUPTS AFTER BIG WIN!
Knicks fans flooded the streets of New York celebrating... until it turned into another night of madness in the Big Apple.
NYPD reports 10 officers injured, one punched in the face, another hit with a glass bottle. A 17-year-old shot in the foot, four others slashed or stabbed.
Five buses torched or smashed with bats (the same ones transporting people for World Cup games). Rioters climbing traffic lights and scaffolding. Significant property damage across the city.
Police Commissioner Jessica Tisch had to send out a letter basically begging people to keep it celebratory instead of destructive.
Hundreds of thousands expected for the Knicks championship parade Thursday at 10 AM, first one since 1973. NYC better lock it down or this could get uglier.
This is what happens when celebrations in blue cities have zero accountability. Congrats to the Knicks on the win, but the post-game riot nonsense is embarrassing.
Law and order matters. Clean it up, New York.
