Knicks 🏆 Championship team had perseverance that only Champions have. The deficits, caused largely by the WWF-caliber officiating (shame on you @NBA), would discourage and defeat nearly every team, but not this one! They kept fighting and fighting, like Champions. Proud!!! LGK!

Someone please explain why! I say mob mentality, lack of respect for the public, and a clear lack of consequences even if caught.
🚨 BREAKING: Rioters have begun setting the school buses ON FIRE in Times Square during the Knicks riots Police do not have NEARLY ENOUGH SUPPORT Mamdani and Hochul have ABSOLUTELY FAILED NYPD and law abiding New Yorkers

Yes, drivers fund NYC street parking infrastructure. NY state local roadway spending (streets, curbs, etc. used for the ~3M parking spots) is covered ~89% by driver-specific fees/taxes: gas taxes, registrations, licenses, tolls (Tax Foundation FY2023 data, latest detailed). General taxes cover almost none. It means the parking spaces aren't "free" to society—drivers already pay nearly all maintenance costs via user fees, not broad property/sales taxes everyone pays. Current street parking is mostly unmetered, but the underlying roads aren't subsidized by non-drivers.

As a Knicks Fan and a New Yorker, it hurts to share this. We must do better, as a City, and as a society. Mob violence is intolerable, cowardly, and my be prosecuted to the full extent of the law. @AlvinBraggNYC @NYCMayor @SpeakerMenin abc7ny.com/post/17-year-old-…
When mob mentality meets no fear of repercussions. It's really sad.

Spurs fan got jumped and stomped by a pack of Knicks fans right in front of NYPD in Midtown. Blood on the concrete, jersey ripped. This city is completely out of control. Governor @GovKathyHochul silent, Mayor @ZohranKMamdani silent, @NYPDPC fighting but the savages still run wild. Get out of New York before it’s too late.

I've got a listing that I'm going to suggest to the owner that we smudge with sage and invite @WuTangClan to perform in the living room. Then, all should be good from there, right?

Like this @jesskcoleman ?
The Knicks' success has exposed an uncomfortable truth... New York contains a staggering number of degenerate men in their 20s, whose hobbies appear to consist of drinking and fighting in public, climbing and trashing things, and confusing antisocial behavior with civic pride.

There is not a shred of data indicating that horse carriages or horses pose a public-safety risk. (Of course, it is sad that a seemingly healthy horse died suddenly, as it is sad when a seemingly healthy person dies suddenly, but often, it is nobody's fault.) The Central Park Conservancy has bizarrely and unwisely taken a fact-free political stance here, but has remained silent on the multiple bike-on-ped and bike-on-bike deaths and severe injuries on its paths over the past decade.
We are deeply saddened by the most recent incident involving a carriage horse in Central Park. Read the full statement: bit.ly/43YUnIJ

The risk of the Head Coach criticizing the officiating after game 3 is that they will show you who's boss the next game. And, they did. Wow.

I really don't need politicians posting Knicks in 4, Knicks in 5...I just want the Knicks, no Politics. And, I'll take a Championship any way it happens.

Not sure who is watching the @ny1 debate, but @AlexBores is crushing it. As opposed to Micah, his nearest competition, there is no comparison.
