Today, we had 2 feathery visitors in our class. Crystal and Nugget hatched in school back in April. They have visited us often over the past 4 months so that we can observe their life cycle and learn to look after them during the different stages of their lifeโs. ๐ฃ๐ @AcreHall

Today, we had a surprise visitor in class. Toby the tortoise came the see us for life skills. We took it in turns to: feed him, look after him, and we even gave him a bath. ๐ข

This afternoon, we had a fantastic camping experience. We played games and completed a nature scavenger hunt. We used our findings to create a beautiful piece of artwork. We also built a tent and even had a delicious picnic! ๐ @AcreHall

We have been looking at the effect that different types of fruits has on the setting time of jelly. We found that fresh pineapple interacts with the gelatine in the jelly, and causes it not to set. #ScienceWeek @AcreHall

Over the past few weeks, we have been collecting donations for the @TrussellTrust to help those in need this Christmas season. We are very thankful for the community we have at @AcreHall and all of our parents, staff, and children. We wish everyone a healthy and happy Christmas!

We had a brilliant day at @CAFTcharity ! We played in the park, we fed some animals, we explored the woods, and we even toasted marshmallows over a bonfire. We did not want to leave ... it was the best day ever! ๐ท๐ฎ๐@AH_SSC3 @AHMrsGandMrsS
