Teachable Moment with med student on why isolated facial injuries (ie no hand or arm injuries) following a fall can sometimes suggest a syncopal cause:
Me: if I ran up to you and pushed you over what would you do?
Med student: I'd push you back!
Yeah, can't argue with that...

Research has shown that there are some types of cancer that is more prevalent in Black and Asian ethnic communities. If you notice any symptoms that you are concerned about, get in touch with you GP. Often, early diagnosis is key to treatment. @NHS_WMCA @BSol_ICS @uhbtrust
