Update on the subscription cancellation emails: We've already resolved this with our payments operator, Lemon Squeezy. It turns out it happened by accident on their side due to a support agent mistake. Their team is already handling it, and your subscription should be restored very soon. Your access to the Screen Studio app should stay uninterrupted in the meantime. We're sorry for the inconvenience and confusion. If you have any questions, we're happy to help.

First time ever, Spotlight caught my intent better than @raycast. Usually, it's the other way around.

The Minimalist Genius Who Created Over 400 Logos, And One Legendary Piggy Bank. Karol Śliwka (1932–2018), a renowned Polish graphic designer, created over 400 logos, including the iconic PKO Bank Polski logo in 1968. Known as "Śliwka" (plum), the logo ingeniously forms a piggy bank from the letters P, K, and O, symbolizing savings. Despite initial rejection, it won a gold medal at the 1969 Polish Poster Biennale, becoming a cultural staple. Śliwka’s minimalist, functional designs shaped Poland’s visual identity. #logodecks

I was about to clean up my Claude chat history. Keep the meaningful ones, delete the noise. Then I thought: does all of this say something about me? So I asked. Not to describe me. To analyze me. Find what I’m avoiding. Name it directly. It found something I hadn’t said out loud in years. If you’ve been talking to an AI long enough, it’s been watching. Try this:

“Based on our entire conversation history, profile me as a person. Be brutally honest. Not cruel, but uncomfortably accurate. Don’t describe what I do. Analyze why I do it. Look for patterns I probably don’t see myself. Find the one or two things I’m probably avoiding in work, identity, or life. Name them directly. Don’t soften it. Minimum 400 words.”

That's so true, and it's the main reason why I'm sometimes ashamed of my Claude history.
LLMs remove social risk of asking specific, but awkward questions you really want to ask, but would never ask a real person. And then digging deeper and taking action I think it’s a great value it adds to society, potentially allowing some people to eg escape some bad situations they’d still be in otherwise

I'm going to tell you something. The upcoming @screenstudio update will be fucking 🔥
Coding quite hard rewriting the screen.studio rendering core from scratch. It unlocks a lot of new possibilities, like fully fully dynamic layouts, split-screen mode, and many more. Also polishing it to cultivate our philosophy - "never let users create ugly videos."

Most of the time managing projects in startups isn't about choosing what to do next, but what not to do next. I wonder if simply hiring more people would fix that, or if it's like your personal to-do list that never ends.

I know for many of you it might seem like another generic @Apple ad, but for me it captures all those things I fell in love with about Apple products in the first place. youtube.com/watch?v=-ueUb6PN…

What stops you from recording tutorials and demos like this?
I’m really starting to enjoy @screenstudio for shooting my Phlex on Rails @BeautifulRubyHQ course. Their app works well for my workflow of minimal editing and 2-3 takes. When I run into workflow issues, I email their team and if it’s sensible, they do something about it. 🤩
