About yesterday's cancellation email
Yesterday, some of you (24k people…) received an email saying your Screen Studio subscription had been canceled. We've seen the concern in your replies. Here's what actually happened and what we've done about it.
What happened
The cancellation was a human error on our payment provider's side. It wasn't an attack, and it wasn't connected to your account or activity.
What we've done
Our payment provider is restoring all affected subscriptions automatically, so you don't need to take any action. PayPal subscriptions will take longer to restore, but we'll make sure your access to Screen Studio won't be interrupted. Your access to the app was not interrupted at any point. All your work, recordings, and settings remained available the entire time.
Your data is safe
There was no breach. No account was accessed without authorization. No customer information was lost, exposed, or compromised.
If your subscription still shows as canceled, or anything seems wrong with your billing or app access, email us at team@screen.studio. We'll fix it directly.
