“Governments act when people care – that's how change happens. ALS moves fast. We need to move faster. Together, our voices can end ALS.” Throughout #ALSAwarenessMonth in June, hear from community voices – like Chris May, ALS Canada Community Ambassador and advocate – and learn more about how we’re creating change toward #aWorldFreeOfALS. 🔗 For more information on how you can get involved in advocacy, visit bit.ly/3PUAS0J.

Thank you for your commitment and dedication in changing the reality for people living at ALS đź’ś
Today, I joined the Walk to End ALS in Ottawa in memory of my dad, Randy, and in support of every person and family facing this devastating disease. I was proud to walk alongside my family and friends @karenmccrimmon and @JohnFraserOS. ALS changes lives in an instant. It takes far too much from far too many, but it also reveals incredible strength, resilience, and love. I walked for my dad, for those we’ve lost, for those still fighting, and for the families and caregivers who stand beside them every step of the way. Together, we’ll keep raising awareness, supporting research, and fighting for a future without ALS. @ALSCanada

Completed my 20 kms #walktoendALS this morning in honour of my dad, Phonse Jesso, who passed away from it in 2019. A cruel disease that has no cure or test (just process of elimination). Let’s change that!! #newfoundlandandlabrador #nlwx
