You don’t understand the stranglehold this Nescafé Gold Blend advert had on the UK because of Anthony Head (long before he was in Buffy)

I absolutely love reading about that encounter on the way to Emmaus. How the ‘scales fell’ from their eyes and that they RAN back to tell the other disciples. May we recognise Christ wherever we see Him.
If the two disciples of Emmaus recognize Jesus when He breaks the bread for them, we too should recognize Him in this way. Not just in the Eucharist, but wherever there is a life that becomes broken bread, wherever someone makes a compassionate gift of themselves, like He did. With the grace of the Risen Christ, we can become this broken bread that transforms reality. #GospelOfTheDay (Lk 24:13–35) #ApostolicJourney #Angola

Spent a lovely morning @NThardwick and an afternoon cross-checking timetables. A long job but worth it to make sure students are in the right set. Onwards and upwards!

Donald Trump is no leader of the free world. He’s a dangerous and corrupt gangster. The Prime Minister needs to call off the King’s state visit to Washington before it’s too late.

Wishing everyone a Happy Easter. The death on the cross was once and for all. The resurrection broke the chains of death and hell and Christ welcomes all of us. However you choose to spend this day, I send love and peace

Such a poor decision to send the King to pay court to Trump. I’d like to say I’m disappointed but I’m actually raging.

"Trump, the Mar-a-Lago golfer, is the only bull in the world who walks around with his own china shop. When a clown takes over the Palace, he doesn't become King. It's the Palace that becomes a circus" French senator Claude Malhuret once again nails it. You won't hear a better indictment of Trump and his Gulf war than this. Well worth 5 minutes of your time My English s/t 👇
