An exciting step for European sovereignty at ILA Berlin: "Team Gen 6", a group of eight leading German defence and aviation companies signed a strategic positioning paper. The German and French governments have announced a realignment of the European Future Combat Air System (FCAS). While the development of the overarching 'System of Systems' is progressing as before, the 6th-generation fighter aircraft integrated within it requires a new, agile industrial setup. Together with @AUTOFLUG, @DiehlDefence, @HENSOLDT, @Liebherr, @MBDADeutschland, @MTUAeroEng, and @RohdeSchwarz, we at Airbus Defence and Space stand ready to take on the responsibility for a 6th-generation fighter aircraft. Closely integrated with the German partners, the Spanish industry is also forming up with the companies Indra, Airbus, @Grupo_Oesia, GMV, @ITPAero, and Sener. As Team Gen 6, we have the capabilities and the capacities. Now, we are looking for close alignment with policymakers and the Air Force to drive forward a superior European air combat system for collective security.

Saat ini bobot perkiraan saat full load antara 14.000-14.500 ton dan bisa saja klasifikasinya nanti menjadi "heavy cruiser" dengan melihat bobotnya yang berat. Saat ini radarnya sendiri masih dalam tahap pengembangan oleh Leonardo, dengan basisnya berasal dari Kronos DBR pada PPA. Jumlah sell VLS yang dibawa terkonfirmasi mencapai 80 cell A-70 NG dan A-50, kedepannya bisa membawa RJ-10/Stratus, Aster series sampe ke Aquila SAM. rid.it/shownews/6864/nuovi-d… Secara ukuran ASEV Jepang ini diatas kertas akan punya ukuran dan bobot yang lebih besar, karena punya panjang 190 meter dan perkiraan bobot full loadnya sampai 16.000 ton. Sedangkan DDX Italia ini punya panjang 179 meter dan perkiraan bobot full load 14.000-14.500 ton. Dalam perannya juga sedikit berbeda, yang dimana ASEV Jepang ini dirancang sebagai platform BMD (Ballistic Missile Defense) dengan radar SPY-7, 128 cell VLS Mk-41 dengan rudal SM-3nya. Selain itu, ASEV juga dirancang sebagai platform long range attack, yang nantinya akan di isi improved Type-12 dan BGM-109 Tomahawk. Meanwhile, DDX Italia ini lebih ke "heavy AAW destroyer/cruiser", dengan 80 cell VLS A-70/A-50 dengan kombinasi Aster dan Aquila. Sudah jelas, DDX Italia ini ingin punya kemampuan buat ngasih superioritas udara di laut Mediterania kedepannya.

ROK Marine Corps’ KAAV-II Amphibious Assault Vehicle Compared to the current KAAV, which has a maximum water speed of 13 km/h, the KAAV-II can reach approximately 20 km/h on water. Its firepower has also been significantly enhanced with the integration of a 40mm CTA (Cased Telescoped Ammunition) cannon. Because CTA rounds are telescoped, the system can carry more ammunition within the same space than conventional ammunition designs. Equipped with rubber tracks, the KAAV-II can exceed 70 km/h on land. It is also fitted with drone-countermeasure systems, including jammers. Berlin’s new “Integrated Security” strategy connects defense, energy, cyber, infrastructure, shipping, and civil protection into one massive national security network. And that changes everything. Saab’s GlobalEye is not just an AWACS aircraft guiding fighter jets. It is a flying multi domain surveillance and command platform capable of tracking air threats, naval movements, electronic warfare activity, sabotage risks, and hybrid attacks across enormous areas in real time. At a moment when the Baltic Sea and North Sea have become frontline zones for undersea cable threats, pipeline sabotage, LNG terminal security, and shadow warfare, Germany needs something far beyond traditional radar coverage.
