Our first-ever OpenBMC Meetup is in the books, and by every metric it was a success. A big thank you to everyone who attended in-person and virtually, and to Meta for partnering with us and hosting the event.
What stood out yesterday wasn’t just the presentations, but the mix of people in the room: operators, silicon vendors, firmware engineers, and platform teams - all working the same problems from different angles.
The conversations dug into upstream contributions, hardware abstraction, secure update flows, and how to run OpenBMC reliably at scale.
We compared notes on what actually works in the field across fleet operations, security, observability, and updates at scale.
To keep that collaboration going between meetups, we have launched an OpenBMC developer community space at:

We invite you to get involved with this growing community and stay in touch for future events like this one!
